“My PIP claim was refused.”
Perhaps important everyday difficulties weren’t reflected in the points you received. We can help you explain which parts of the decision you disagree with and why.
PIP Mandatory Reconsideration support
A refusal doesn’t have to be the end. If you disagree with your PIP decision, we help you explain what may have been missed in a clear, personalised Mandatory Reconsideration letter.
When your PIP decision doesn’t feel right
A refusal or a lower award can leave you wondering whether the information you shared was really understood. You don’t have to find the right words on your own.
Perhaps important everyday difficulties weren’t reflected in the points you received. We can help you explain which parts of the decision you disagree with and why.
If you believe your award doesn’t reflect the help you need, we’ll help put your reasons into writing. Be aware that the DWP can review your whole award, including reducing it.
“We don’t change your story. We help you explain it clearly.”
Simple process, personal PIP help
You tell us what happened. We help you put the important details into a clear letter for the DWP to consider.
After purchase, upload your decision letter and tell us the date of the decision, so we can see what the DWP said and the PIP points awarded.
Tell us about your health conditions, the help you need, what everyday tasks are difficult and why you disagree. We’ll also help you identify relevant information or supporting evidence the DWP may have overlooked. New medical evidence is not compulsory.
We’ll prepare a written PIP Mandatory Reconsideration response based on your information. You review it, then send it to the DWP using the instructions on your decision letter.
The difference clear explanations make
A useful reconsideration explains which part of the decision may be wrong and gives specific examples of your real day-to-day difficulties.
“I struggle with cooking and I don’t think I got the right points.”
“When I prepare a meal, I need help to do it safely because… This happens… and affects me by…”
Illustrative example only. We use your genuine circumstances and do not invent difficulties or evidence.
We help you think about which PIP activities and points you disagree with, what your decision may have overlooked, and which real-life examples or supporting records could make your explanation clearer. New medical evidence is not compulsory. Do not delay asking the DWP for reconsideration while waiting for evidence or our letter.

If your PIP decision doesn’t change
If the DWP keeps its original decision after Mandatory Reconsideration, you can usually appeal to an independent tribunal. We’ll help you understand what happens next and provide written appeal support within your package terms.
An appeal is a separate stage after the Mandatory Reconsideration Notice, not the same as asking the DWP to look again.
Your next step, if needed
If the reconsideration doesn’t change the outcome, we can help you prepare a written appeal statement for your claim. You remain responsible for submitting the appeal and meeting the tribunal deadline.
This service does not include tribunal representation or a guaranteed changed award. Appeals normally have a one-month deadline from the Mandatory Reconsideration Notice.
