Who we are

Win Your PIP is an independent UK service provided by Age Related Diseases & Health Trust (Registered Charity No. 1124019). We are responsible for (the “controller” of) the personal information described here. We are not part of the DWP or any government body. You can contact us at info@agetrust.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Your email address, if you sign up for our free guide or updates, place an order, or contact us.
  • Order details: what you bought, when, and the payment reference. Card payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
  • The details you give us after paying: your name, your health conditions and how they affect your daily life, and your circumstances. This is health information, which the law treats as especially sensitive.
  • Questions you ask our website assistant, and its answers. Please don’t include personal or health details.
  • Call-back requests made before October 2026, when that service ended: your name, phone number or email, and what you’d like help with.
  • How you use the website: pages viewed and buttons clicked, and — only if you accept cookies — Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and session recordings. See our cookies page.

How we use it, and why we're allowed to

  • To provide the service you’ve paid for — writing your personalised answers, emailing you about your order and providing support. (Lawful basis: our contract with you.)
  • Your health information is used only to write your answers and support you. We ask for your explicit consent before you send it, and never use it for marketing or advertising.
  • Guidance and update emails are sent only if you asked for them, and every email has an unsubscribe link. (Lawful basis: your consent, or for the free guide you requested, our legitimate interest in following up — you can stop these at any time.)
  • Improving the website and measuring our adverts. (Lawful basis: your consent for Google, Meta and recordings; our legitimate interest for our own basic visit statistics, which you can turn off by choosing “Reject”.) If you accepted cookies and then buy, we tell Google and Meta about the purchase directly, with a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address, your IP address and browser, so they can match the sale to the advert you came from. They never receive your health information.
  • Answering questions in our website assistant, and reading them to improve the website. (Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering your questions.)
  • Keeping accounting records as the law requires. (Lawful basis: legal obligation.)

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We use trusted providers who process it on our behalf, under contract:

  • Stripe (payments)
  • Vercel (website hosting) and Supabase (secure database and file storage)
  • Resend (sending emails)
  • OpenAI (helping draft your personalised answers from the details you give us, and answering questions in the website assistant; information sent through OpenAI’s business service isn’t used to train its models)
  • Google and Meta (website statistics and advert measurement, only if you accept cookies — never your health information)

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where they are, your information is protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK’s data bridge or approved contract terms.

How long we keep it

  • Order and payment records: as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes (normally up to 6 years).
  • Your details form and written answers: while you’re using our support, then deleted when no longer needed.
  • Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe.
  • Session recordings: 90 days.
  • Website assistant questions: 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, take a copy with you, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@agetrust.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
